in 1964, Lankem Ceylon Limited is a public quoted company with a broad
base of shareholders. Primarily a chemicals company, it's products
are household names in Sri Lanka. Lankem, Robbialac, Mistox and Bubble
are some of these.
The diversified operations of the company also include the manufacture
of agro & household chemicals, paints, mosquito coils and washing
powders respectively. Lankem is also a major supplier of industrial
chemicals and bituminous products to the Sri Lankan market.
The company’s diversity includes inroads into the plantation
and hotel industry whilst preserving its core competencies in the
chemicals sector.

Robbialac decorative paints are manufactured under licensee agreement
from Berger International - Singapore. Lankem Ceylon Ltd., manufactures
approximately 442 products in varying pack sizes under five brand
names.
